School Policies
While Fusion Academy is a distinctly
non-traditional learning facility, there are policies
in place to provide for the safety, comfort, and well-being
of all who are on our campus.
Fusion Academy students will be:
- Respectful toward staff and other students, regardless
of differences in age, gender, sexual orientation,
personal beliefs, and/or opinions.
- Compassionate toward others at all times.
- Willing to engage in open and honest communication.
- Willing to be active participants in their own
lives.
|
Fusion Academy students will NOT:
- Bring, buy, sell, trade, or use illegal drugs
and/or alcohol while on campus.
- Come to school under the influence of alcohol
or any illegal or unprescribed drug.
- Put themselves and/or others in the way of physical
or emotional harm.
- Plagiarize work. All student work is expected
to be original ideas of the student. Students who
turn in plagiarized work or the work of another
student will receive a zero grade on the assignment.

| Drugs & Alcohol |
Bringing, using, buying, selling,
or trading illegal drugs and/or alcohol on campus is
considered a serious offense by Fusion Academy.
Each case is evaluated individually
by the school administration, which will determine the appropriate
course of action. The student will be required to follow
this course of action to remain enrolled at Fusion Academy. Failure to follow the course of action as recommended by Fusion
Administration will result in immediate expulsion. Courses
of action may include the students participation
in a drug counseling program, a change in the students
schedule to prevent him or her from contacting other
Fusion Academy students, suspension, or expulsion.

| Physical Violence |

policy on physical violence or intimidation of any kind.
