Frequently Asked Questions
| When was Fusion Academy
founded? |
| In 2001, Fusion Academy opened
its doors to its first full-time student, after years
of helping local students navigate through traditional
schools via our tutoring division, Fusion Learning Center, which
opened in 1989. We often witnessed students failing
to achieve success in traditional settings, and from
that sprang Fusion Academy. |
|
| How many students are typically
enrolled at Fusion Academy? |
The number of students fluctuates
from year to year. However, the school has experienced
continued growth since its inception. In 2004, Fusion Academy had 17 full-time
students; in 2005, 34 full-time students; during the
2006-2007 school year, we enrolled 50 students; and for the 2007-2008 academic year, we attained our maximum student population of 58. We anticipate a student body of approximately 50 for the 2008-2009 school year.

|
| How much is tuition? |
Tuition is schedule-specific
to each student, and is determined by the number of
courses taken at once, as well as the level selected.
|
|
| Do students get any holidays
or breaks during the school year? |
Yes: two weeks off during winter
break, two days off for Thanksgiving, and one week off
during spring break.
We are a year-round school, and
are open all bank and government holidays in order to
better accommodate
each students needs.

|
| Can I take my child out
of school for a family vacation or event outside of
regular school breaks? |
Yes, but advance notice is
required. Students do not "miss class" during vacations,
as the class is put on hold until the student returns.
