Karina received her BS in Combined Sciences and a minor in Psychology from Santa Clara University in 1996. She has 12 years of experience in the education field, and received her Educational Therapy Certificate from UCSD in the spring of 2000. She also obtained her certificate in College Counseling in 2008.

Karina has extensive experience working with students who are coping with learning disabilities and emotional difficulties. She handles all issues pertaining to tutoring and mentoring. As SSD Coordinator, Karina provides special education consultation and assists parents in navigating the IEP process. She is also available to assist students in the college application process. She is also the co-author of Pre-Calculus Workbook for Dummies.
Karina has been an integral part of Fusion for the past twelve years. Her enthusiasm and professionalism are outstanding.
